Caribbean tours - you’ll never be bored
Most Caribbean travel specialists offer diving, sailing, and cruising in their portfolio, but some tour operators have a speciality in these areas. Others arrange special interest holidays such as bird-watching or cricket tours. There are so many wonderful sights in the Caribbean that it is easy to understand why thousands of people flock to the islands each year. The Caribbean is an amazing place to visit, with modern resorts, interesting historical ruins, tranquil beaches, and great food. The Baths on the British Virgin Islands are located along the shore and make up caves, caverns, and tidal pools. Comparable to the Stonehenge in England, these huge boulders of granite are available for public visits. When you visit the Baths you may swim, dive, or snorkel. The Baths are not something to be seen from the land alone so make sure you carry your diving equipment. The drive-in volcano on the volcanic island of St Lucia is one of the most unique Caribbean natural attractions. It is the closest most people will ever get to seeing a volcano. The volcano is semi-active, and after driving up to the tour point, you will be taken very close up, to see a five acre-wide hissing crater, and experience the sulfurous air in a tour to remember. The Harrison's Cave in Barbados is one the largest limestone caves and forms a part of Caribbean natural attractions. You will have to take an electric tram that travels through the cave where you will see stalagmites and stalactites. You will also see a 40-foot waterfall and many underground pools that are filled with crystal-clear water. To the north side of the Grand Cayman Island you can enjoy the pleasure of swimming alongside tamed stingrays. This is done by diving into the crystal-clear waters at Stingray City. You could even go snorkeling in the shallower sandbar of Stingray City. More than 60% of Saint John (U.S Virgin Islands) has been declared a national park and consequently this is the most unspoiled of all Caribbean natural attractions. You can choose to follow the trails in the park or go on a guided tour with the park ranger. This is also one of the popular hiking regions in the Caribbean. Mosquito Bay (Vieques), also known as Bio Bay is a narrow, shallow bay, almost completely surrounded by mangroves. The microscopic organisms in the bay emit a blue-green light when the waters are disturbed. The light is more powerful than most conventional flashlights, and is quite a sight to behold. The bay is a popular spot for swimming, kayaking, and cruising. Buck Island (St.Croix) is surrounded by a beautiful coral reef that serves as home to a variety of multicoloured fish. You can dive into the water to see them up close, or, if that is not your kind of thing, there are glass-bottomed boats that take people over the reef so that you can watch the fish without getting wet.
